Cookie Policy.

Last updated · 29 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Apollo Builders uses them on apollobuilders.com.au, and the choices available to you. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners about how the site is used.

Cookies can be ‘first-party’ (set by this website) or ‘third-party’ (set by another domain, such as an analytics service). They can also be ‘session cookies’ (deleted when you close your browser) or ‘persistent’ (remain on your device for a set time).

2. How we use cookies

We keep our cookie use to a minimum. The categories that may be present on this website are:

  • Strictly necessary — required for basic site functions like page navigation and form submission. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Performance / analytics — help us understand which pages are most visited and how visitors move through the site, in aggregate. Only enabled once a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID (starting ‘G-’) is configured by us. See section 4.
  • Marketing / tracking — currently not used. If we introduce marketing tracking (for example a Google Ads or Meta pixel), this policy will be updated to disclose it.

3. Cookies we currently set

At present the site sets no first-party cookies for tracking purposes. If cookies are added in future (for example when analytics tracking is switched on), we will list them here and describe what each one does and how long it lasts.

4. Third-party analytics

Apollo Builders may enable Google Analytics 4 (GA4) after launch to understand aggregate site usage. When enabled, GA4 sets cookies such as ‘_ga’ and ‘_ga_<container-id>’ to distinguish unique visitors and measure sessions. IP addresses are anonymised where the platform supports it.

If Google Tag Manager (GTM) is used to load additional tags, it does not itself store personal information — it simply orchestrates other tags according to configured rules.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of this website from working correctly. For instructions, see:

  • Google Chrome — support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Safari — support.apple.com/en-au/guide/safari
  • Firefox — support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
  • Microsoft Edge — support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies used on the site change. The ‘Last updated’ date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
